A separate section of design is devoted to projected design, that is product design of the future. The design approaching this activity is towards the ideal design disregarding limitations imposed by the restrictions of our present manufacturing or construction facility. This type of design has value in stimulating new thinking, fundamental, even radical approaches to the function of products. This is product insurance for the future
